Old Testament Prophecy predicts that Jesus will calm the wind

Many of us know the story in the book of Mark about how Jesus calmed the wind and the sea in a windstorm:  “And a great windstorm arose, and the waves were breaking into the boat, so that the boat was already filling. But he was in the stern, asleep on the cushion. And they woke him and said to him, ‘Teacher, do you not care that we are perishing?’  And he awoke and rebuked the wind and said to the sea, ‘Peace! Be still!’ And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.”  Mark 4: 37-39.

Did you know that this was foretold in one of the Psalms that was written about 1,000 years before Jesus’ birth? “Then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble, and he brought them out of their distress. He stilled the storm to a whisper; the waves of the sea were hushed.” Psalm 107:28-29.

There are 109 unique, non-repetitive prophecies in the Old Testament that foretell Jesus.
